Intersegmental Traction in Covington Township

How does it work
Using the body’s weight as rollers move up and down the spine, intersegmental traction induces passive motion into the spine for the purpose of stretching spinal joints and muscles while increasing mobility of the spine. It also facilitates muscle relaxation to help reduce muscle spasms.
What it treats:
• Back pain
• Osteoarthritis
• Sciatica
• Disc injury
• Spinal stenosis
A typical treatment
The patient will lay face up on a table while rollers inside the table will move up and down the spine on an intensity tolerable to the patient. A treatment will usually last 10-15 minutes.
